Pharmacovigilance Officer At Hikma Pharmaceuticals
Job Summary:
Responsible for performing basic tasks such as filing and archiving, data entry, and some standardized routine drug safety and pharmacovigilance (PV) activities under close supervision.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receives, follows-up, and reports spontaneous reports of adverse events (AEs) and other safety information
- Receives, follows-up, and reports product quality complaints (PQCs) and medical information enquiries (MIEs) and checks for hidden AEs
- Communicates and performs reconciliation with relevant PV staff, partners and third party service providers
- Contributes to the preparation of periodic safety update reports (PSURs) and risk management plans (RMPs)
- Contributes to the preparation/review of safety data exchange agreements (SDEAs)
- Performs literature searching for assigned products and therapeutic areas
- Conducts PV training for country-based staff
- Performs archiving of PV documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with grade Very good or Excellent
- Minimum Experience: 0-2 years of experience in same field
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
