Job Description:
Supervise micro sampling and samples handling in OCT to ensure samples are taken at the right quantity, at the time and frequency; and dispatched to the External Micro Lab in good conditions with the right labels.
Ensure implementation of Inbound testing plan, make sure of sampling & testing of RM is compliant with sampling plan. Follow up with external chemical labs the analysis & results communication.
Verify the External Micro Lab equipment, resources, analysis procedures and working environment are consistently compliant to the required standards.
Verify the micro lab results, monitor the trend, analyze and report any micro deviation and non-compliance with product specifications.
Timely release of all micro & chemical tested products and materials through Hold & Release module in ATLAS Q&FS.
Participate to the External Micro Lab with Regional Microbiologist/Food Safety Manager, identify the gap and opportunities to improve and follow up with the external lab to close the audit finding actions. Support the External Micro Lab to maintain Good Laboratory practices.
Manage the budget of R&D testing as per the operating plan and work on continuous improvement plan to reduce R&D testing cost through optimization in the testing plan and efficient execution.
Support the site in the investigation and trouble-shooting of micro-related incidents and non-conformances; and verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions for the micro issues.
Support the site in creating awareness of micro hazards and to improve GMP/GHP.
Contribute to the risk assessment & investigation activities related to micro issues, e.g. in Material Risk Assessment, Packaging Risk Assessment, Change Management, Exceptional Release, Derogation/Waiver, & consumer complaints.
compliance to Micro Verification and IVT standards as owner for the site.
Participate actively as HACCP team member for all value streams.
Owner of the Environmental & Hygiene module in ATLAS Q&FS module, ensure proper utilization of the system and manage the database and reporting through the system.
Own the Micro Score Card for OCT and report periodically with the right level of details.
