Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will assist Production Manager in organizing staff and material flow in a shift to deliver the required production of flavors on time, following quality standards. You will be located in our flavor production site in 6th of October, Cairo, Egypt.
You will:
Provide leadership to flavors production personnel in assigned shift.
Increase productivity within assigned shift by managing resources including prioritizing and controlling work flow, coordinating schedules, materials and equipment.
Prioritize and control work flow to maximize resources and ensure delivery of product to customers.
Control inventory of production supplies.
Ensure that maintenance work of the machines and equipment is performed.
Manage compliance with work schedules and safety regulations, company administrative regulations and other instructions given by the management.
Complete necessary documentation to communicate shift activities, equipment status and work priorities to others shifts and management.
Support and represent Lean concept, completing the defined Lean tasks and proposing ideas for the continuous improvement program in the assigned area.
Assume supervisory responsibilities when Supervisor is not present.
Assist Supervisor in providing guidance in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety, plant and departmental procedures and guidelines. Train and instruct full-time and temporary staff.
Provide verbal feedback to employees on their performance and provide the manager with performance feedback on employee to support the performance review process.
You:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Science ” Chemistry “, or Pharmacy.
From 0 to 2 years of experience in a chemistry environment.
SAP background is a plus.
English Language fluency
