Customs Clearance Coordinator At Sandoz Egypt
Major Accountabilities:
Sufficient awareness of Global Trade Compliances Principles and relevant local trade practices to enable oversight and review of import activities carried out by service provider.
Act as point of contact with relevant local government authorities (e.g. customs authority) to manage any exceptional communications (e.g. government enquiries, audits etc.) and raise as appropriate.
Advise supply chain of the implications of compliance issues on current and planned business activities.
Communicate and align all required documents every year to prepare annual importation/exportation license for Sandoz Technical Operation imported drug substance.
Support in preparation of Sandoz imported bulk/drug substance and importation License if needed. .
Assure that all internal governmental approvals and clearance process such as issuing Form4, issuing Medical Stamp memos, issuing Customs memos & settlement are granted in time with no delay.
Assure full accountability in reconcile the received Clearance agents invoices and shipping documents against the valid contract/s before issuing the necessary memos.
Minimum Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in international business, logistics, or any related field.
1 to 3 years of proven experience in customs clearance preferably within pharmaceutical companies.
Very good understanding of customs regulations and laws.
Attention to detail, with the ability to review and verify documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and government agencies.
Strong Communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Very good command of English.
Car license is required.
