Demand Planning Manager At Jamjoom Pharma
Role Purpose
The position of Demand Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of demand planning, analyzing customers, distributors and vendors demand along the supply chain to develop efficient ways to forecast future demand and ensure its accurate and timely fulfilment.
The role is expected to review purchase history, sales history in the light of the current marketing strategies and future growth plans.
Responsibilities
Ensuring that all work within the market demand planning domain is carried out in an efficient and compliant manner.
Leading and coordinating the regular demand review meeting, the demand supply reviewed meeting – S&OP- Meeting with the needed preparation according to the company guidelines.
Maintains 12-18 months rolling sales forecast for Egypt & NA markets and uploaded timely on SAP as per the company guidelines.
Maintains the corrected base of actual sales monthly to ensure building the data of the yearly forecasts / budgets using a correct base.
Keep the demand working file, updated, and coordinated across the different stakeholders using the S&OP process to ensure its full adherence.
To handle customer orders till orders fulfilment through weekly/ monthly communication between commercial and factory teams both in Egypt and Jeddah.
Responsible for CAPA for the S&OP process
This person will be the process owner of Demand / Supply monthly review meeting setting KPIs for delivery performance per SKUs.
Follow up multiple stakeholders of the supply chain to ensure delivering the needed task(s) / goods on expected time & quality.
Maintains the library of historical data and key learnings from previous projects and releases the data for those who need it.
Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, and improvement of business processes.
Contributes to the identification of new business / products opportunities utilizing the existing resources to support the innovation cultures in the organization.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, or related life sciences.
3-5 years of professional Demand Planning experience, within the pharmaceutical industry.
Fluency in English written and spoken.
Hands on proficiency with MS office particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Practical knowledge of developing & reviewing SOPs.
High capability of planning and organization with attention to detail.
Analytical thinking.
Go getter mindset, ownership with exceptional problem-solving skills.
