Digital Transformation and Logistics Specialist At Unilever
Job Scope:
To drive the initiatives of centralized coordination, tracking & monitoring of all day-to-day activities related to Logistics Digital Transformation for enhancing overall visibility and achieving best in class operational efficiency. Act as a key link between Operations, Global Logistics, Digital Supply Chain, and different IT teams and work with Ultra Logistic transport planning team to coordinate and execute day to day operations in the most optimum and efficient manner. Provide key inputs to planning team based on real time data on truck utilization, lead time tracking, truck turnaround time, direct dispatch efficiencies, modes of transportation & transporter KPI compliance report to achieve excellence in execution
This role reports direct line to NAME Digital and Transformation Lead.
Roles & Responsibilities
Improving Operational Efficiencies: Monitor, track & coordinate for the various Logistics Digital Transformation related activities for day-to-day operational efficiency & analysis.
Responsible for fully coordinating and implementing the Logistics Digital transformation projects agenda in MENA.
Get full clarity from business on their expectations, KPIs
Focal point between Operations, Global Logistics, Digital Supply Chain, and different IT teams.
Map down the current Logistics Process and identify areas which could be automated or digitized using RPAs
Asses existing global practice or there is a need to develop local solution to solve business requirements.
Bring savings and improve efficiencies through digital solutions.
Standardization, Digitization, and Automation of business processes across Logistics Transportation & Warehousing.
Implement, Maintain, and Improve dashboard usage & adoption across MENA using PowerBi.
Improve traceability tools/methods for Transportation & Warehousing across MENA.
Monitoring 3PL & Technology suppliers KPI compliance.
Understand whether there are existing global solutions or there is a need to develop local solution.
Work on cluster Financials and provide visibility and areas of improvements.
Bring savings and improve efficiencies through digital solutions.
Seeking new technologies and products that fits in Logistics portfolio and best practices externally and other UL markets.
Participating in Implementing Transportation Planning (OTM) / Broadening scope of OTM in NAME, if any.
Fully participate in Transportation initiatives and use technology to improve visibility & benefits.
Key Competencies & Skills:
ESSENTIAL
Computer Science / Engineering/ Logistics / Business Administration degree
Fluent English, preferably in Arabic and French
Proficiency in PowerBi
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Good RPA implementation experience (PowerAutomate, Python, C#)
Good communication skills
PREFERRED:
SAP or any ERP system knowledge is preferable
Preferably no military obligation for male candidates
Understanding of Warehouse & Transportation management practices, distribution network & channels
Good working knowledge of Supply Chain Processes
