Filling Category Leader At Danone Egypt
As a Filling Category Leader, you will be leading the Filling Team to manufacture the planned volumes while meeting the SQCDMN requirements for specific product category.
About the job
SAFETY
1- Improve the safety awareness, behavioral safety of the Filling Team and housekeeping in coordination with concerned departments.
2-Ensure the implementation of the 13 WISE elements within Filling Area.
3- Enforce the use of all safety procedures to reduce accidents and incidents to an absolute minimum by developing work procedures that adhere to safety and environmental cleanliness principles.
QUALITY
1- Ensure the implementation of all Food Safety, GMP’s, AIB and HACCP processes and procedures in the day-to-day operations
2- Ensure all quality parameters are met, and that out of specification is analyzed and reduced by addressing root cause.
3- Make sure to impalement FSPM plan in machine category with level lead to optimize FG Losses.
4- Ensure the sustainability for ABC products result.
5- Investigate Consumer complain to identify the root cause and put the action plan to close this issues
COST:
Provide continuous development and productivity projects to reduce Labor
and Material cost
2- Monitor the monthly financial performance to ensure its compliance with the budget
DELIVERY:
1-Manage and lead the Production Filling/Packaging Operations (3xFilling Lines1xFast to deliver the budgeted finished products as per the constrained market demand with DANONE quality standards and minimum cost in the planned time schedule, with respect to the environment, health, safety, food safety and all legal regulations
2- Monitor the daily production schedule and ensure its compliance with maintenance, staffing and operational constraints to secure product availability as per the weekly production plan
3- Analyze production and operational reports, define the root causes of non – conformity with the established norms and goals
4- Ensure that all operations processes are implemented and respected during the day-to-day operations
5- Develop manufacturing practices, production schedule, operational methods and procedures to ensure a smooth operation and achieve the highest performance standards
6- Coordinate in proper execution of projects through support of technical team, Quality , Safety & R&D.
7- Ensure line process controls are monitored and that process variation is reduced
MOTIVATION:
Lead, coach and train the Filling team to ensure the improvement of workflow and achieve the highest efficiency on the manpower & machinery sides
Conduct performance evaluation sessions for his first line subordinates in due time. Review and approve the performance evaluation of his first liners to their subordinates ensuring a timely efficient and proper PDR process.
NATURE
Implementation of Waste Management best practices
Ensure that the Scrap Area is managed in accordance with the defined waste management processes/standards
Ensure that losses are reduced to minimize the impact on COD
SPECIAL PROJECTS
Lead & Manage Internal Projects across the organization having Filling/Packaging as their Main Scope of Work
Lead Project from Production perspective for ant new Innovation or COVI saving project
Job Requirements:
To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
From 1 to 3 years of experience in the Production field, FMCG Background
Full awareness of the departmental requirements (process, quality, reliability, LEAN, personnel and hygiene).
Good knowledge of MS applications.
Very good command of written & spoken English Language.
