Formulation Manager At AstraZeneca Egypt
Job Description:
– Leads the process operation, (Formulation), within the PET. Leads all process operation to produce a quality product on time, at cost, to the defined process and operational standards, and drives continuous improvement in daily activities.
– Leads technology transfer & new products introduction projects to formulation operations.
– Maintaining compliance within licenses to operate ( cGMP, SHE, and Business compliance)
– Leads the execution of the process to deliver a quality product, on time, in full, in accordance with the production requirements, and in collaboration with other site members.
– Execute the standard process to deliver the product on time, in Full, and ensure a standard way of working
– Ensure correct labor resources, skills and capabilities are in place for standard process execution.
Job Requirements:
Academic / Professional qualification: Bachelor ‘degree in Pharmaceutical science
Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing facilities.
Experience in technology transfer & new product introduction: leading technology transfers, supply chain management, process technology/development, regulatory/quality assurance.
Practical knowledge of project/program management principles, techniques, and tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, etc)
Solid understanding of Lean concepts, principles and tools as applied to the business as a whole including manufacturing.
Solid understanding of pharmaceutical processes and GXP requirements
Understand and adhere to budget responsibilities and capital planning.
Strong communication and leadership skills
Cross-functional & collaborative team work.
