Job Title: Project Leader
Job Location: 6th of October City

JOB PURPOSE: Proper interaction with business partner and the central project team for control of projects as per FPI Codes & Standards to meet Client Satisfaction & to Maximize project profitability.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Project Management:
Manage projects and interact with the execution project manager and central project to have a smooth execution of project
Facilitate projects management by supporting the Central Project Engineers until final hand-over and payment of accounts
Implement the mitigation strategies so as to safeguard the company’s interest and satisfy the client requirements
Advise for client requirements and variation orders of the project as per the customer needs and ensure that the contractual requirements are met
Direct project department to protect company interest and maintain customer satisfaction

Project Execution:
Monitor and follow up variation orders and ensure all necessary documentations are sent on time keeping record for any changes

Policies & Procedures:
Comply with operational procedures and instructions when performing all job tasks and activities
Communicate customer complaints with Customer services
Highlight potential problems in project execution

HSE:
Comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions
Use personal protective equipment and safety gear when performing assigned tasks
Report unsafe acts, incidents or safety violations

SPAN OF COMMUNICATION:

Internal: Projects, Sales, Technical/Engineering, SOP, Production/Planning, Purchase, Stores, QA/QC, Delivery, Site Services, and Finance teams.
External: Clients, End Users, Third Party Inspectors, Engineering Consultants, Suppliers, Subcontractors

Job relevant information (BOUNDARIES & DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY): Responsible to ensure that all projects are handled according to FPI general terms and conditions to ensure profitability.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications:
Engineering degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical or Industrial
PMP course is a plus

Job-Specific Skills:
Knowledge of Contract Law
Hands-on Project management experience
Knowledge of the Company’s products, processes, accreditations, delivery, installation and quality procedures
In depth knowledge of the logistical interactions needed for efficient project management
