HSE Controller At Saudi German Hospital
Location: New Nozha, Cairo
Job Description
1-Make Daily Rounds Over all the hospitals with Checklist for whole hospital departments i.e. LAB, Radiology, Dinning, medical areas, and Utilities area.
2- Implement Environmental measures inside the hospitals
3- Participate in the Risk assessment process
4- Take part in Hazardous material control by checking the implementation of HAZMAT Policy inside the hospital
5 -Issuing Work permit for the maintenance department, contractor, or other departments after ensuring that the work will not affect patients and all SGHC Occupants’ health and safety and have the authority to stop high-risk activities during rounds
6- Preparing daily reports for health and safety issues inside the hospital
7- Comply with the hospital’s general policies and instructions
8- Comply with Dress Code, Personal Hygiene and Punctuality
Risk assessment and management
9-. Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and guidelines by local, state, and federal regulations.
10-. Collaborate with management to establish and promote a proactive safety culture, emphasizing
the importance of safety in all aspects of the organization’s operations.

12.- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and develop
strategies for prevention.
13. -Prepare detailed incident reports, including recommended corrective actions and preventive
measures.
14. -Maintain accurate records of all safety incidents, including injuries, illnesses, property damage,
and near-miss events.
15. -Analyze incident data to identify trends and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
Safety Training and Communication
Job Requirements
BSc/BA in safety management, engineering or a relevant field is preferred
Have a Health and safety technician certificate
Proven experience as a safety Controller from 1-2 years in hospitals and healthcare institutions is a must
In-depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and procedures
Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus
Outstanding organizational skills
Diligent with great attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics
