HSE Specialist At AMECATH Egypt
Location: 10th of Ramadan, Sharkia, Egypt
Responsibilities:
Implement HSE plans in the workplace according to the legal guidelines.
Implement policies to increase safety culture for workers.
Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law.
Conduct training and presentations for HSE matters and accident prevention.
Monitor compliance with policies and laws by inspecting workers and operations.
Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.
Investigate accidents or incidents to discover root causes and handle worker’s compensation claims.
Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures.
Report on health and safety awareness, issues, and statistics
Supervise and monitor fire alarm and firefighting system and set plan for firefighting systems according to fire Egyptian code.
Prepare HSE statistics tracking system to comply with HSE legal requirements.
Implement HSE culture across the organization through the provision and development of HSE polices.
Prepare work permits of various types for all items and implementation works.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to follow up on safety performance and work to solve safety related problems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in science or any related field.
Professional Experience:
From 1 to 2 years of proven experience in Manufacturing field.
Medical Devices background will be a plus.
Other skills/requirements:
Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
HSE Committee certificate.
Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
Good awareness with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
Good awareness with ISO 13485:2016 is plus.
OSHA Certificate is a plus.
