” Infection Control Intern “

Job Description:

– Participates in developing and conducting educational and in service programs related to infection control policies, procedures, and methods.
– Prepares power point educational presentations and computer work.
– Using the supported automated database systems to maintain surveillance statistics and to produce infection control tables and graphs.
– Assists in conducting ongoing surveillance of infections in patients and, if necessary, staff, using established facility criteria and guidelines.
– Prepares surveillance data for presentation facility committee’s medical staff committee, etc.)
– Monitors and evaluates isolation, aseptic, and patient-care techniques to provide optimal care to Patients.
– Assists in conducting investigations of infection outbreaks and/or exposures and implements risk reduction strategies.
– round in whole hospital to be sure that the employees work a the infection control rules
be sure that the employees working on MARSA protocol

Internship Requirements

Bachelor medical background
(Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Veterinary)
Postgraduate studies in infection control field
(epidemiology/microbiology/public health); diploma
and/or master degree.
