General Ledger Accounting Supervisor At Hero

Job Responsibilities:

General Ledger Function:
– Responsible for ensuring the proper posting of all transactions to the appropriate accounts (incl. accruals and prepayments).
– Responsible for the Audited Financial Statements (Quarters and Year-End) and handling all the external auditor requirements and inquiries.
– Maintain and balance intercompany accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
– Periodic review of the applied internal control system and the accounting system, highlighting all areas of risk and recommending reasonable controls to mitigate these risks

Fixed Asset Function:
– Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recordation of fixed assets.
– Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts.
– Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and the accumulated depreciation

As per the below requirements:
o Bachelor’s degree in accounting/Finance
o 7+ Years of Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in the accounting field
Prior experience in general ledge/financial analysis
o Excellent command of English
o Proficient in Microsoft Excel
SAP User experience
One of IFRS/CMA is preferred
o Effective communication skills
o Highly adaptable to changes
o Excellent command of English

· Handle tax audits and ensure adequate documentation.
· Follow-up latest updates of tax laws and regulations.
· Prepare tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports.
· Communicate with various insurance companies to issue new policy(s) as per needed.
· Follow up with the related department to finalize the insurance claim’s invoice(s).
· Contact the foreign company’s representative and send all insurance claim(s) if any and follow up for the claims’ collection.
· Responsible for the insurance policies renewal when close to expire.
· Register all related journal entries in the books.
