Job Description:
Logistics management and improvement
Responsible for importation & Production plan annual submission and close follow-up till issuance from Governmental authorities.
Responsible for managing 3rd party suppliers and finance-related services and invoices to clear goods from customs (Import/Export).
Resolve all related issues regarding customs clearance, which requires involvement with Governmental authorities (Bank, Ministry of Health/Egyptian Drug Authority, Customs).
Procurement and Logistics Manuals
Formulate, authorize, and maintain policies and procedures for the procurement and logistics cycle by providing clear documentation that such procedures are validated.
Quality of Purchased Materials
Ensure quality standards are met in supplying goods
Coordination with suppliers and brokers to ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken properly for defective items
Cost Management
To procure materials and services economically at the lowest cost.
To align with the monthly budget
Contract negotiations:
Negotiating, formulating, and reviewing the legal conditions of contracts.
Managing and monitoring all company’s contracts and SLA’s
Purchase-to-pay activities Handling:
Maintain an uninterrupted flow of materials to support the development schedules.
Correspondence and dealing with suppliers as well as follow up on PO’s delivery dates & managing any stock rejections.
Verification and follow-up of suppliers’ bills to see that payments are made promptly.
Ensuring that our ethical standards are integrated into all our procurement activities, especially in registering any supplier to comply with our standards
Responsible Procurement:

Manage and improve relationship/performance with AZ Egypt operations’ suppliers/service providers and Dual sourcing activities:
Ensure supplier’s compliance framework adherence and alignment with the 3PRM program, ABAC & Third party expectation policies.
Manage / Improve OTIF KPIs.
Development of reliable and alternative sources of supply.
Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a similar field
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
great knowledge of supply chain processes
Work well under pressure and in a team and work independently.
Strong in writing, documentation, coordination, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong in MS Office / SAP.
Fluent in English and Arabic Languages
Excellent customer service skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, public officials, and members of the general public.
