Microbiology Assistant Researcher At Nawah Scientific

Job Brief:

Assistant Researcher is a position responsible for handling laboratory activities and keeping the integrity of the management system.

Job tasks:

1. Receive and record samples.
2. Ensure sample integrity to analysis.
3. Perform sampling when needed.
4. Analyze all samples according to laboratory test methods.
5. Prepare the final report.
6. Maintain records of all quality activities as documented in QPs and test methods.
7. Operate, maintain and perform intermediate-check of equipment.
8. Report on deficiencies or malfunctions to the senior researcher.
9. Identify and record nonconformities on the Nonconforming form.
10. Correct for nonconformities after being designated with the respective authority.

Job Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Science.
2. 3-5 years’ experience in a related field.
3. Strong knowledge of culture media preparation and performance acc. to ISO
11133:2014.
4. Strong knowledge of microbiology lab equipment intermediate check acc. To ISO 7218.
5. Previous experience in the analysis of food/ swab/water samples as per national regulations.
6. Knowledge of statistical techniques is a plus.
