What You Will Do In Your Role
This position supports the Master planning area by managing glass purchasing activities in RSI between EU plants following the Master Planner indications coming out of the weekly cycle. Accuracy on the execution placing purchase orders in RSI and agility to cover deviations is crucial for the OTIF regional results.Main responsibilities:
Manage Intercompany purchasing activities between EU East plants following the Master Plan provided by MP.
Manage Stocking Program of Purchase Glass in EU Plants.
Secure products availability for customers considering Safety / Production / WH constraints in time and in full.
Ensure IT tools & systems are used according to the Code of Conduct and Compliance & Ethics policy.
Focus on controllable costs and consume fewest resources possible.
Provide back up for other EU purchase schedulers.
Apply and Challenge Central planning recommendations.
Main Expectations:
Optimize Freight costs / Inventory level / Leadtime taking into account Safety / Capacities (Production + WH/SH) / Technical constraints.
Create an efficient relation with WH/SH teams.
Scheduling daily KPI: 0 negative SP, 0 no ATP SP
Maximize immediate ATP SP and minimize long ATP SP.
Response for CAM within 24 hours for purchased transactions.
Become a specialist user of MPS (multi plant sourcing) and provide constructive feedback and ideas to improve it.
