QC Specialist At Multicare Egypt for Pharmaceutical Industries

We are hiring Quality Control (QC) Specialist for Multicare’s responsible for Raw Materials site as per the following details:
Designation: QC Specialist
Location:3rd Settlement, New Cairo, Kattamia (Industrial Area), Cairo.
Reporting: QC Manager

Job Purpose:

The QC Raw Material role is a critically important activity to ensure efficient and effective compliant design, construction, qualification, and operation of the new strategic/existing Multicare’s drug substance facility
A.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Keep current with revisions to compendial monographs on raw materials and to compendial test methods used in chemistry division
Perform instrumental analysis (HPLC, UV, GC, etc) of raw materials
Validate the assay methods of finished products to ensure products’ compliance to standards
Calibrate instruments according to work instructions to ensure compliance to standards
Troubleshoot and resolves operations issues
Analysis of raw materials where there are problems in the results of the analysis again to confirm
Revise Raw Material Inspection Plans , chemistry methods and related SOP’s affected by these compendial changes and changes arising as a function of a CAPA, per approved Change Control
Maintain and generate requested raw material-related reports, such as lists of qualified compendial methods and raw materials for specific commercial products
Ensure compliance with cGMP and other business compliance regulations
Participate in risk assessments, inspections, audits, incident investigations, etc. and implement and follow-up on corrective / preventative measures
Represent QC chemistry at operational and cross functional meetings
Initiate Change Control requests in Multicare’s document management system and follows through until the completion of workflows
B. Qualification/Knowledge/Experience Requirements :

1. Level of Education:

B.Sc. degree (Life Science qualification i.e. Pharmacy/Science/Vet)
2. Experience :

Previous experience of Pharmaceuticals in QC roles is desired
3. Language :

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
English fluency essential
4.IT Literacy :

Professional computer and MS-Office skills
