You will inspect and analyze raw materials, in-process and finished product samples to secure compliance with product safety regulations, specifications and standards. You will report to the Quality Lab Manager and located in our site in 6th of October City (Industrial Zone 3).
Core Responsibilities
At least 1-year experience in food microbiology analysis, working with ISO standards and performing environmental monitoring analysis.
Enter test results into SAP resulting in an acceptance or rejection.
Communicate rejections and information updates to important contacts in Quality, Operations, Purchasing, and Customer Care. Types of communication include email, making notes in the system, and verbal.
Perform basic equipment calibrations per frequency noted in calibration procedures.
Perform instruments, equipment, and quality deviation troubleshooting in the laboratory.
Maintain work a hygienic and safe work environment.
Provide backup and support to team members.
Identify opportunities for improvements in QC and set measures for trouble prevention
Fair SAP Knowledge
Good MS package Knowledge
Advantage if you have chemical, physical testing, and sensory evaluations of products or incoming ingredients as identified by the current Givaudan specification for the item.
Preferably to have a good background in working with ISO 17025
Technical Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Science or equivalent
Overall work experience of 1+ in a similar field
Laboratory and QC techniques.
Operational experience and affinity on laboratory system, analytical equipment, and instruments such as weighing balance, Densitometer, Refractometer, Moisture balances, Karl Fischer titrator, Sieve testing equipment.
Knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous material, and related local regulations.
Good Sensory Evaluation experience.
