We are hiring: R&D Specialist.
R&D Department.
6th of October City (industrial area) Egypt.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead new product development projects which may include seasonal ice cream flavors, ice cream cakes, ice cream sandwiches, cookies, baked desserts, and popsicles.
• Conducts recipe and formula management, development, and troubleshooting for current, new or improvement of existing projects.
• Direct R&D protocols and standardization systems to prompt efficient new product development strategies using Tec Wizard® software or similar.
• Lead ice cream formulation and commercialization projects for B2B and HORECA channels while determining correct ingredient labeling, nutritional and allergen information for all new products.
• Actively consult with production on the implementation and integration of SOPs with emphasis on GMP to promote product standardization
• Communicates directly with purchasing and cost-control departments to source new and alternative high-quality, yet cost-effective, ingredients.
• Initiates food product benchmarking to see continuous improvement strategies as well as identify market gaps.
• Seek product optimization strategies, alongside marketing, with F&B retailers for collaboration opportunities.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

From 1 to 3 years of experience in the same field.
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in a related field.

•Previous experience in R&D management, preferably in the food and beverage industry.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
