AGRANA Nile Fruits is hiring the right person for the R&D Professional position to support our clients’ development and innovation plans by creating new recipes for their portfolio and develop recipes for new customers to join Agrana’s expansion plans. The R&D Professional will be reported directly to the R&D & Innovation Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Develop fruit- and non-fruit-based solutions for dairy and bakery applications according to briefs and with the relevant marketing/commercial guidance.
Prepare samples of products in accordance with specified recipe requirements.
Partake in innovation activities from the ideation phase to the development and submission of product.
Partake in the recipe scale-up process in terms of process parameters and corrective measures.
Conduct stability tests for new product developments.
Arrange internal sensory evaluations, collecting and presenting feedback in an accessible and utilisable form.
Assessment and qualification of new raw materials.
Stay informed about the latest market trends and new developments in food and beverage industry.
Undertake matching projects for optimisation projects or against established benchmarks.
Create and maintain new raw materials and finished products on company’s ERP system.
Basic essential requirements:
Faculty of Agriculture, Science, Biotechnology or Pharmacy
1 – 3 years experience in the Food and Beverage Industry
Very good command of English
Decent Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Proactiveness and willingness to learn
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
