Supply Chain

Orascom Services is looking to hire a Logistics Coordinator.

· Apply the logistics plans to support all relevant operations.
·  Coordinate the payment of all logistics staff.
·  Assist in provision of logistics support to other staff by arranging Iand and air-travel including arrangement of security clearance for daily/weekly missions.
·  Handle the Maintenance of equipment’s’ inventory.
·  Handle project transport requirements; assign duties to drivers ensuring timely services, issuing fuel, recording logbooks and maintenance and repair/recovery of vehicles.
·  Review order payment terms, delivery terms and any other special conditions before executing the purchase order.
·  Highlight any gap or risk that might face the logistics operations to the Logistics Manager aiming to set preventive or corrective actions as required.
·  Follow up with suppliers to ensure they are fulfilling their side of payment obligations.
·  Follow up with suppliers and freight forwarder to ensure proper and timely delivery of the material according to the purchase order delivery terms through the division procedures.
·  Review performed invoices with division’s employees to assure compliance with the issued purchase orders.
·  Review shipping documents to ensure compliance with each shipping instructions.
·  Obtain booking details from suppliers to assure suitable delivery status (in case of suppliers handling the shipping of the designated materials).
·  Submit primary data to Logistics Manager concerning: Forwarders’ offers for shipping the material by air and/or sea freight (FOB & Ex-work delivery) including, freight, carrier name, transit time, free time, first available booking, pick up charges, THC (terminal handling charges) and customs clearance.
·  Perform suppliers’ invoice, packing list, shipping details, weight, dimensions, no. of cartons.
·  Submit reports to Logistics Manager for ready documents of shipped material and all critical issues or problems regarding missing, damaged, and delayed materials.
·   Update the logistics data base regularly to reflect the real situation of the materials.
·   Generate related reports as requested and conduct additional analysis if needed.
·   Perform other assignments as necessary to support the function/department.

·  Bachelor’s degree in logistics or Business Administration.
·  Related certification is preferable.
·  3 to 5 years of experience in the same field.
·  Good command of English.

•Supervise the sourcing procedure and select customs clearance / Transportation companies which can cover / support in the business scope.
•Ensure that all data / documents from purchasing / sales in order to arranging / maintain all Logistics records.
•Following up on imports shipments till receiving it at site covering customs clearance / transportation and all other related tasks, GAFI approvals, documents, duties and payments
•Ensure that subordinates following up with shipping lines till having the shipments at destination required.
•Monitor and evaluate shipping lines, freight forwarders, transportation companies’ utilization usage and costs.
•Executing & supervising the sourcing strategies to secure the services quality and meet expectations.

•Supervise / Contact suppliers / service providers / customers for issuing / amending document(s) if needed for customs clearance.
•Executing process of export sales for cement (bagged / bulk) covering assistance in chartering / containers booking and ensure requested packaging materials
•Prepare all export documents / inspections based on supplier request to ensure destination smooth customs clearance.
•Following up with team on service providers performance and resolving issues and concerns / instructions problem solving.
•Establish and maintain customers / service providers relationship.
•Assign tasks to subordinates and follow up with them to assure achieving the required objective.
•Transmits and prioritizes approved shipments / Performa invoices / sales orders and shipping documents to customers.
•Monitor shipments to ensure that the cement / shipments / documents are delivered on time until the shipments are closed & follow up on the undelivered shipments or problems trace shipments (inbound and outbound).
•Reviewing and confirming commercial invoices / agreements / contracts (1st & 2nd layer confirmation), especially local cement delivery contracts, invoices, and payments.
•Issue Logistics / shipments report reflecting the status of inbound and outbound shipments even they are ongoing or done orders.
•Ensure that all records of inbound / outbound shipments, and local transportation, and related paperwork are in the right place and order.
•Follow up / Review business providers payments against their contract prices.
•Complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
•Giving a hand in subordinates assessment
