Job Scope:
The Innovation planner manages the critical interface between the SC and the Category Brand teams to ensure that conceptual Innovation is developed considering the strategic goals of both the Business Teams and the SC. The role also leads the SC work stream in innovations and ensures stage-gate OTIF for its work stream.
This role requires extensive knowledge of the supply chain configuration, and good knowledge of product design and manufacturing processes in the respective categories.
Roles & Responsibilities
Innovation network development & execution.
Responsible for the timely roll-out of innovations network for the export projects
Localize & execute the regional/global projects’ NW while reporting on innovation risks
Represent the SC in the regional innovation project meetings
Responsible for the innovation planning KPIs, ZERO Write Off & OTIF
Provide regular update on the innovation status and flagging the hot issues
Lead the SC work stream for innovation, saving and relaunches projects
Represent and be the voice of Mashreq SC in cross-functional forums for exports innovations .
Provide SC inputs into project networks and be accountable for ensuring stage-gate OTIF on SC work stream.
Manage interfaces within SC i.e., Quality, Procurement, Planning, Logistic, Engineering, etc. for innovation projects.
Support portfolio management with functional partners in R&D and Category Finance.
Key Competencies & Skills:
Engineering Graduate
Minimum 0-1 years working experience
Project Management experience.
Basic Understanding / Demonstration of SC Fundamentals
