Job description
The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Responsibilities
To act as consultant to department heads on all HR processes and programs.
To oversee the development of the HR department.
Responsible for senior level decision making and both day to day management and strategic direction of the organization.
To develop and implement an annual agenda for HR strategy in line with the business plan and needs.
To implement HR programs, monitoring annual budget for the department, conducting continuing study of all HR policies and practices.
To lead the development of department goals and objectives.
To implement the performance management system which includes performance development plans and employee development programs.
To establish and lead the standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforce.
To recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer – employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
To review and approve management recommendations for employment terminations.
To establish the company wage salary structure that help to recruit and retain superior staff.
To develop remuneration and rewards procedures.
To plan and oversee new employees ‘orientation program.
To consistently develop organizational chart.
To advise Managers on counseling employees regarding performance issues.
To maintain a succession plan for all departments.
To monitor the overall Company requirements in respect of training needs, manage training and development budget, sourcing of appropriate training programs and assessment of individual development needs.
To review departmental policies, procedures and related forms.
To investigate grievances and/or complaints from employees.
Any other duty assigned by Management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management or equivalent university Degree
Masters is a plus
Minimum 10 years of experience in HR systems, strategic & Planning functions
Minimum 5 years as Human Resources Manager
Fluent in Arabic and English
Excellent communication skills
