Job Purpose:

Develop, implement and continuously improve on sanitation and pest control programs and KPI’s for plant, Verify adherence to sanitation, GMP’s to ensure food safety and Ensure compliance to all regulatory requirements

Key Accountabilities:

Plant sanitation program execution and results.
Maintains MSS schedule and detailed SSOP’s for all equipment and infrastructure. Audits against consistent application and execution.
Adherence to global policies and procedures.
Ensure plant is in a sanitary condition at all times.
Engages the plant leadership team in sanitation challenges requiring cross functional support.
Troubleshoots persistent sanitation issues to identify deficiencies in sanitation program or equipment design.
Sets the direction for ongoing sanitation verification activities.
Assess and mitigate risk associated with construction and major maintenance.
Understands process and functional interdependencies. Recognize and escalate identified risk or opportunities to improve plant performance.
Conducts clean up inspections and verification/validations (sanitation, allergen, other). •
Responsible for review of environmental monitoring data and development of corrective/preventive actions.
Partners with plant and engineering equipment manufacturers to ensure compliance to hygienic design principles.
Develops and implements all sanitation/pest control training for all employees.
Ensures all safety requirements related to sanitation are met (chemical storage/MSDS/PPE’s etc).
Engages technical experts to troubleshoot sanitation challenges, identify technology and methodology to improve sanitation effectiveness.

Education, Experience and Skills:

Education:
Bachelor`s Degree in Agriculture or Science

Experience and Skills:
Strong knowledge and experience in quality, regulatory and food safety.
At least 3-5 years’ experience in quality, food safety and regulatory.
