Warranty Engineer At Mansour Automotive
Warranty Engineer is responsible for administration and analysis of customer Warranty returns. The Warranty Engineer commits to being the “quality expert” as well as the “voice of the customer”. and will champion/support continuous improvement of the Quality System and design/manufacturing/assembly processes with the manufacturing companies
The role will be Responsible for reviewing and analyzing customer warranties for failure mode or responsibility, Communicate with the manufacturing company for warranty issues and trends to improve product quality, process warranty claim for payment, responsible for implementation manufacturing company policy and procedures in his/her location.
Analyze customer warranty for responsibility, reason, cost and resolution and maintains tracking system of warranty replacement parts including warranty claim submission rate per location analysis.
Approve warranty repairs under self-authorization and submit approval request for repairs beyond his/her authority.
Prepare and submit technical reports for trended warranty repairs to manufacturing company to assist in identifying and improving quality.
Responsible for preparing service catalogue on “SAP” and the implementation of manufacturing company policy and procedures in his/her location.
Review warranty documents to make sure that it’s in line with manufacturing company policy and procedures.
Submit warranty claims, review or correct pending/rejected warranty claims to guarantee accurate and timely payment.
Supervise the replaced parts storage process to make sure it is in the required status for scrapping process and participate in warranty scrap committee as needed
Understand and verify the functional Requirements of the warranty and provide guidance on practices and techniques to individuals and cross-functional teams.
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
