Position: R&D Senior Specialist – Packaging Material

Location: Obour City, Egypt

As an R&D Senior Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in developing innovative, eco-friendly packaging solutions that enhance product quality and meet sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

– Lead research and development of new packaging materials, focusing on sustainability and cost-effectiveness
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, production, quality control) to ensure packaging aligns with product and brand goals
– Test and evaluate new materials for compatibility with existing products
– Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations in packaging technology
– Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with regulations

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
– 3+ years of experience in packaging material development, preferably in FMCG, food, or cosmetics industries
– Strong knowledge of sustainable packaging solutions
– Analytical mindset with experience in testing and evaluating packaging materials
– Excellent communication and project management skills
